Taifun skimmer with pin-wheel (Taifun 2 N Kegel)
Factory new:
- air suction approx. 500 l/h
- water turnover approx. 900 l/h
- applicable for aquariums of about 200 - 1000 l
- high skimming rates, even if there is just little space
- foam container is easy to take off
- low noise during operation
- low noises because of sound absorbers
- easy control of the water level by twisting of the wedge-tube

The new conelike-design of the skimmer allows an extremely high and efficient skimming process.
The pointed cone design of the Taifun 2 uses its pin-wheel with its injection and the cone-like counterbored holes to generate really fine bubbles that rise with less turbulences inside the cone to generate a really concentrated absorbate.
The skimmer is constructed for the placement in a filter-aquarium.

The skimmer is constructed for the placement in a filter-aquarium.
Base 300 x 190 mm, overall height 510 mm including the foam container - but werden 555 mm are required. The water level inside the filter-aquarium should at least be 180-200 mm in order to achieve a good skimming process.
The skimmer is also appropriate for the use of ozone. For that, there is a second access inside the sound absorber needed, where the ozone apparatus is connected so that the air supply is cut off.
Important:
In order to prevent a power loss, all air boreholes should be cleaned and freed from salt sediments about every 2 months.
